BANGKOK, Thailand – The Philippine national men’s football team looks to seal a spot in the semifinals of the 2012 ASEAN Football Federation Suzuki Cup as it battles Myanmar Friday at the Supachalasai Stadium here.

The Azkals, who are currently sitting solo in the second spot of Group A with three points, needs one more victory to reach the knockout stages of the tournament for the second straight time. A draw might suffice, but coach Hans Michael Weiss does not want to take any chances.

MANILA, Philippines – Team manager Dan Palami said the Philippine Azkals are all set for their 2012 Suzuki Cup opener against host team Thailand on Saturday.

“I think it's safe to say that everybody's raring to go. I think with what our boys are showing in the previous games. I take we're ready to take on the mighty Thailand,” Palami said in an interview on ANC's Top Story.
